    Find your charger ID

    Joulo needs your serial number or OCPP ID to register your charger. For brands with automatic connection we retrieve this for you • no manual entry needed.

    Auto-connect

    Joulo connects via the manufacturer API. No action needed • we read the serial number automatically.

    Enter the serial number once during registration. After that Joulo handles everything automatically.

    General tips

    • App'Settings', 'About' or 'Device info' in the manufacturer app.
    • LabelSide, bottom or inside front cover • labelled as 'S/N', 'Serial Number' or 'Chargebox ID'.
    • DocsOriginal packaging, invoice or user manual.

    Via CPO dashboard (e.g. NewMotion)

    Log in → 'My locations' → select your charging station → click on the charger. Under 'Configuration' or 'Device info' you'll find the Chargebox ID (CBID) or serial number.

    Note: CPOs also use their own 7-digit EVSE ID. Joulo needs the original factory serial number.
