Create a free account and add your charger via OCPP. You'll receive a unique WebSocket URL and security key.
AccountConfigure your charger
Enter the WebSocket URL and security secret in your charger's OCPP settings. This varies per brand • we guide you step by step.

Open protocol, securely connected
OCPP is an open standard managed by the Open Charge Alliance. We implement OCPP 1.6J over a secure WebSocket (wss://) with SHA-256-validated secrets.

SHA-256 security
Each charger gets a unique 20-digit security secret. The gateway validates it via SHA-256, transmitted over wss://.
Dedicated CSMS
Joulo's OCPP gateway runs on dedicated infrastructure with SQLite-backed outbox for reliable data sync.
Realtime sessions
Charging sessions are tracked live via MeterValues. Start, stop and energy consumption • all automatic.
Custom Charge Point ID
Use the default Joulo ID or enter your own existing Charge Point ID. Convenient if your charger is already configured.
Connection monitoring
We automatically detect connection errors and show the status in your dashboard, so you can resolve issues instantly.
