Charging and ERE's are two separate choices

The ERE belongs to the person named on the connection. That is you, not the platform that manages your charger. So you choose who registers your ERE's.

Joulo B.V. holds its own account in the NEa's Register Energie voor Vervoer (REV).

Signing up is free. Pick E-Flux when you connect.

2. Sign in at E-Flux

Choose which chargers to share and give Joulo access. E-Flux sends you back.

3. We do the rest

We fetch your charging sessions from 1 January 2026, register your ERE's and pay out every quarter.

What we do and do not do

Automatic

We read your completed charging sessions and the address of the shared chargers. No uploads, no exports. We use that data for your ERE's only.

You stay in control

You choose which chargers to share. Revoke access in your E-Flux account and our access stops.

MID meter checked

Only kWh from a charger with a MID meter earn ERE's. If we do not recognise your model, we check the meter first.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. Your charger, the E-Flux app and your charge card stay as they are. Joulo only reads your charging sessions and registers the ERE's. You charge with E-Flux and handle ERE's with Joulo.

Through the ERE API of Road, the company behind E-Flux. Pick E-Flux in Joulo, sign in at E-Flux and choose which chargers to share. E-Flux sends you back to Joulo. Your password never reaches us.

The ERE API covers E-Flux's own platform. Do you sign in on a portal under another name, for example from your employer, your installer or your energy supplier? Then you connect through that portal. Pick E-Flux in Joulo: we ask where you sign in and send you the right way.

Yes. E-Flux is the back office, not the charger itself. For ERE's the charger on your wall needs a MID-certified meter. If we do not recognise your model, we check the meter before your sessions count.

Yes, if your charger has a MID meter. When you connect, we fetch your charging sessions from 1 January 2026, the start date of the scheme. We register 2026 sessions up to and including 25 February 2027.

Through E-Flux by Road you get 1 percentage point off the service fee: you pay 19% instead of 20%. You only pay on ERE's that have been traded. We pay out every quarter to your IBAN. The contract is cancellable yearly.
