Your choice
Charging and ERE's are two separate choices
The ERE belongs to the holder of the energy contract on the connection. That is you, not the platform that manages your charger. So you choose who registers your ERE's.
Tap stays your charging app
Start, stop, charge card and smart charging: everything keeps working in the Tap app.
Joulo registers your ERE's
Joulo B.V. is on the official NEa list of registration service providers.
Money every quarter
We sell in parts across the year and pay out every quarter to your IBAN.
How it works
Three steps
1. Create your Joulo account
Signing up is free. Pick Tap Electric when you connect.
2. Paste your Tap key
Create a key in your Tap dashboard and paste it into Joulo. Your chargers appear right away.
3. We do the rest
We fetch your sessions from 1 January 2026, register your ERE's and pay out every quarter.
The connection
What we do and do not do
Automatic
We read your chargers and charging sessions from your Tap account. No uploads, no meter readings to submit.
You stay in control
The key is yours. Revoke it in your Tap dashboard and our access stops at once.
MID meter checked
Only kWh from a charger with a factory-fitted MID meter earn ERE's. If we do not recognise your model, we ask you for brand and model.
