Which Enphase models work?

The IQ EV Charger 2 is fully supported. It includes a MID-certified meter, which is required for ERE registration.

How quickly does data appear?

Joulo polls Enphase every 30 minutes. A session you start now is typically visible in your Joulo dashboard within an hour, often sooner.

Do I need to keep the Enphase app open?

No. The integration runs server-to-server between Joulo and the Enphase Cloud. You can ignore the app entirely after connecting.

What about my solar production?

Joulo only reads your EV charging sessions. Solar production data stays in Enphase Enlighten • we don't touch it.

Joulo only requests read access via Enphase OAuth. We never control your charger and we never see your Enphase password. Tokens are encrypted and refreshed automatically.

What if a session is missing?

Enphase returns the 20 most recent sessions per charger; we sync every 30 minutes so long sessions are easily covered. If something is missing after a few hours, reconnect Enphase from your dashboard.

Does Joulo work with Enphase?

Yes • the Enphase IQ EV Charger 2 connects through OAuth with your Enlighten account. The IQ EV Charger 2 includes a built-in MID-certified meter • required for ERE. Cloud data depends on Enphase API availability.

How much ERE does my Enphase generate?

Connect Enphase IQ EV Charger to Joulo

Can I connect my Enphase to Joulo for ERE registration? Yes. The IQ EV Charger 2 has a built-in MID-certified meter and connects via OAuth with your Enlighten account • your sessions flow in live through the Enphase Cloud API, with no app to keep open and no manual exports.

✓An Enphase Enlighten account linked to your system
✓An Enphase IQ EV Charger 2 (includes a MID-certified meter)
✓The serial number of your IQ EV Charger

Step-by-step setup

Start the connection

In your Joulo dashboard, go to 'Connect charger' and select Enphase.

Authorize via Enphase

You'll be redirected to Enphase Enlighten. Log in and approve Joulo's read-only access to your systems and EV charger data.

Open Enphase Enlighten ↗

Select your charger

Joulo discovers all IQ EV Chargers in your Enphase system. If you have multiple, pick the one you want to link.

Confirm your MID meter

Enter the serial number of your IQ EV Charger 2. The built-in MID meter is what the NEa registers ERE's against.

Done

Sessions sync automatically every 30 minutes. Your first sessions appear in Joulo within an hour.

What happens next?

Joulo polls the Enphase Cloud API every 30 minutes and pulls the most recent sessions per charger. Each qualifying session is registered with the NEa as an ERE • payouts follow each quarter.
