It seemed a shame to leave this free money on the table, so I looked for a reliable registration provider and ended up with Joulo. Because I have an Enphase charger and Joulo already has an agreement with Enphase to read my data, with my explicit consent, signing up was very simple, and even retroactive to April 2026. I did not have to read any meter values; everything is well arranged and happened automatically.

Yes. The Enphase IQ EV Charger 2 has a factory-fitted MID-certified meter and counts for ERE's right away.
Within seconds. You sign in with your Enphase account and approve access. From 14 May to 20 September 2026, half of our customers saw their first sessions in Joulo within 13 seconds of that approval, and eight in ten within one minute. After that, we fetch your sessions twice a day.
You connect your Enphase Enlighten account to Joulo once via OAuth. After that, Joulo reads your charging sessions automatically via the Enlighten Cloud API.
Yes. Joulo only reads charging sessions from your IQ EV Charger; your solar and battery data stay within your Enphase account.
Our customer average is 4,100 kWh charged at home per year. Our customers receive 12.6 cents net per kWh on average, after service fees. That comes to about €517 per year in ERE's, €129 per quarter. At the standard 20% fee it is 12 cents per kWh.
A 20% service fee on the revenue. No subscription and no connection fee. The contract is cancellable yearly and we pay out every quarter.
No, and your supplier does not matter. ERE units cover the renewable share of the Dutch grid mix. For 2026 that share is 50.5%.
Yes, as long as the MID meter measured them. Sessions from 1 January 2026 count, and 2026 sessions can be registered up to and including 25 February 2027. Sessions from before the MID meter never count.
Every quarter, on the account from your registration. Your dashboard shows per charging session where the amount comes from.
