Does the NexBlue Edge Max have a MID meter for ERE registration?

The NexBlue Edge Max and Delta Max (the Max range) have a built-in MID-certified energy meter (±1%) and are directly eligible for ERE registration via Joulo's NexBlue Cloud connection. Joulo recognises your model automatically and validates the MID status.

Does the NexBlue Edge Max have a MID meter?

Yes, the NexBlue Delta Max and Edge Max have a factory-fitted MID meter and count right away. Other NexBlue variants lack that meter.

How do I connect my NexBlue with Joulo?

In your Joulo dashboard go to 'Connect charger', choose NexBlue and log in with your NexBlue account. Joulo then automatically reads your charging sessions via the NexBlue Cloud API • a one-time action.

What can I earn with my NexBlue?

Our customer average is 4,200 kWh charged at home per year. Our customers receive 12.6 cents net per kWh on average, after service fees. That comes to about €529 per year in ERE's, €129 per quarter. At the standard 20% fee it is 12 cents per kWh.

What does it cost?

A 20% service fee on the revenue. No subscription and no connection fee. The contract is cancellable yearly and we pay out every quarter.

Do I need a green energy contract?

No, and your supplier does not matter. ERE units cover the renewable share of the Dutch grid mix. For 2026 that share is 50.5%.

Do charging sessions from before I signed up count?

Yes, as long as the MID meter measured them. Sessions from 1 January 2026 count, and 2026 sessions can be registered up to and including 25 February 2027. Sessions from before the MID meter never count.

When does the money reach my account?

Every quarter, on the account from your registration. Your dashboard shows per charging session where the amount comes from.
