Connect Wallbox charger to Joulo
Can I connect my Wallbox to Joulo for ERE registration? Yes, after a MID upgrade. Wallbox Pulsar Plus, Pulsar Pro and Commander connect via the Wallbox Cloud API with your myWallbox account. These consumer models have no built-in MID meter, which ERE requires • Joulo arranges an upgrade to a charger with a built-in MID meter, or guides you to a Secondary Allocation Point (SAP).
What you need
- ✓A Joulo account (free)
- ✓A myWallbox account with a linked charger
- ✓A Wallbox Pulsar Plus, Pulsar Pro, or Commander (note: none of these consumer models include a built-in MID-certified meter; Joulo arranges an upgrade to a MID charger or guides you to a Secondary Allocation Point (SAP) for ERE eligibility)
Step-by-step setup
Start the connection
In your Joulo dashboard, select 'Connect charger' and choose Wallbox.
Log in with myWallbox
Enter your myWallbox email and password. Joulo uses these to access the Wallbox API securely.
Select your charger
Choose which Wallbox charger to connect if you have multiple units.
Confirm your MID meter
Joulo automatically detects that consumer Wallbox models (Pulsar Plus, Pulsar Pro, Commander) do not have a built-in MID meter. We then follow up with a quote for an upgrade to a MID-certified charger or guidance for a Secondary Allocation Point (SAP).
Done!
Your sessions will sync automatically going forward. ERE registration starts once a MID-certified meter is in place.
What happens next?
Joulo syncs sessions from the Wallbox Cloud. Each session meeting the requirements is registered as an ERE.
