About Ecotap

Dutch chargers on EVC-net

Ecotap is a Dutch charging-station manufacturer. Charging is managed via the EVC-net platform (Last Mile Solutions), with Easy Charging Quality as the consumer app at ecotap.evc-net.com.

Dutch manufacturer

Ecotap makes home and semi-public chargers and provides the surrounding charging management.

EVC-net portal

Easy Charging Quality (ecotap.evc-net.com) for account management, session overview and transaction data.

MID meter on board

Many Ecotap models have a built-in MID meter • exactly what ERE registration requires.

Integration

Turn your Ecotap session data into ERE credits

Keep your charger with Ecotap, earn ERE credits via Joulo. Log in once • the rest is automatic.

You connect your account yourself

You enter your own Easy Charging Quality / Ecotap credentials and explicitly authorise Joulo to fetch sessions via EVC-net on your behalf.

No migration, no hardware swap

Your charger stays managed by Ecotap. Joulo only reads telemetry and automatically checks whether your charger is MID/Eichrecht-certified.

Automatic ERE registration

Joulo registers your charging sessions as ERE's with the NEa and sells them at the right time. Quarterly payout to your IBAN.

Flexible route choice

You use the same Ecotap account and charging data to choose your ERE route. This keeps you in control of terms, payout and service fee.

Your data

How your sessions get loaded in

Under the 2026 Regeling energie vervoer, the ERE belongs to the holder of the energy contract on the connection • your EAN, not Ecotap. Which filing service you use is therefore your choice. There are two ways to get your charging sessions into Joulo.

Manual: download and upload

Export your charging sessions from Easy Charging Quality and upload the files into Joulo yourself. No integration, no automation • just your own data.

Automatic: on your behalf

With the integration on this page, Joulo performs that same step for you, only automated. Joulo uses your credentials, your authorisation, and stops the moment you say so.
