    Connect Smappee charger to Joulo

Smappee chargers connect to Joulo via the Smappee Cloud. You authorize Joulo through OAuth with your Smappee account and we read your charging sessions automatically. The Smappee OAuth approval is currently being finalized • we'll notify you as soon as connecting is available.

    What you need

    • A Joulo account (free)
    • A Smappee account linked to your charger
    • A Smappee EV Base, EV One or EV Wall (all include a MID-certified meter)
    • The serial number of your MID meter
    1

    Start the connection

In your Joulo dashboard, go to 'Connect charger' and select Smappee.

    2

    Authorize via Smappee

You'll be redirected to Smappee. Log in with your Smappee account and grant Joulo read-only access to your charging data.

    3

    Select your charger

If you have multiple Smappee service locations, choose the one you want to link to Joulo.

    4

    Confirm your MID meter

Enter the serial number of the MID meter inside your Smappee EV charger. This is what the NEa registers ERE certificates against.

    5

    Done

Joulo will sync your Smappee sessions automatically every 30 minutes.

    What happens next?

Joulo pulls your Smappee sessions from the Smappee Cloud and registers each qualifying session as an ERE certificate. You don't have to touch anything • payouts are made quarterly.
