Where do I find the V2C API key?

In the V2C Cloud app: Settings → API. If you don't see it, update your V2C firmware first.

Which V2C models are supported?

The V2C Trydan is supported. Other V2C models may work if they support the V2C Cloud API.

My old sessions are missing

V2C syncs historical data from the Cloud. If sessions are missing, it may be because they weren't uploaded to the V2C Cloud. Make sure your charger has been connected to the internet.

Connect V2C Trydan to Joulo

V2C chargers connect to Joulo via an API key from the V2C Cloud. You generate a key in the V2C app and paste it into Joulo.

What you need

✓A Joulo account (free)
✓The V2C Cloud app (iOS/Android)
✓A V2C Trydan charger
✓A MID-certified meter

Find your API key

Open the V2C Cloud app on your phone. Go to Settings → API and copy your API key. If you don't see this option, make sure your V2C firmware is up to date.

Start the connection in Joulo

In your Joulo dashboard, select 'Connect charger' and choose V2C.

Paste your API key

Enter the API key from the V2C Cloud app. Joulo uses this to read your charging sessions from the V2C Cloud.

Confirm your MID meter

Enter the serial number of your MID-certified energy meter.

Done!

Joulo will now sync your V2C sessions automatically.

What happens next?

Joulo syncs V2C sessions periodically. Historical sessions from before the connection may take up to 24 hours to appear.
