evcc

Let evcc see which car is charging, with the TAG ID from your Joulo charging sessions.

evcc identifies a car by the card or TAG that started the charging session. Joulo returns that value with every charging session. You read it once and put it in evcc.yaml. The recipe is ours, evcc itself is open source from the evcc community.

What data the app reads

The app uses an API token. It reads everything your token may read:

  • profile
  • chargers
  • charging sessions
  • energy and ERE's
  • ERE position

Read only. The app cannot change or start anything.

Connect

  1. 1In your dashboard, open Developer › API › Recipes.
  2. 2Copy the evcc recipe. Your token is already in it.
  3. 3Put the lines in evcc.yaml and restart evcc.

Stop

Revoke the token under Developer › API in your dashboard. Every app with that token then loses access.
