Home charging that new forest grows
Joulo partners with Dutch nature organisation Trees for All. You choose which part of your ERE earnings goes to forest projects • certified under the international Plan Vivo standard.
Pledged together

The first customers have set their donation percentage. The counter appears here once enough has been pledged.
The amount is the sum of what customers have pledged from their expected annual earnings. It updates automatically and is rounded. How much CO₂ a forest captures differs per project • so the capture is an indication and we never promise a number of trees.
// How it works
You pick the share, we handle the rest
Charge at home
Every kWh through your MID-certified charging station earns an ERE. Joulo registers it with the NEa for you.
Pick your percentage
On the earnings tab in your dashboard you choose which part of your earnings goes to Trees for All: from a few percent to all of it.
We transfer it
With every quarterly payout your chosen share goes to Trees for All. The rest lands in your bank account as usual.
You can change your percentage at any time. The change applies from your next payout.
// The partnership
Certified CO₂ capture
Trees for All is a Dutch non-profit that has worked towards a forest-rich world for over 25 years. It supports forest projects in the Netherlands and abroad; worldwide, more than 14 million trees have been planted this way.
The projects are certified under Plan Vivo, an international standard for CO₂ capture. Independent audits demonstrate that the CO₂ is genuinely captured. The projects also add biodiversity and improve living conditions for the people who live there.

Why we never promise a number of trees
How much CO₂ a forest captures depends on the area, the growing years, the tree species, the climate and the soil. A single average per tree would not be honest. Joulo and Trees for All work with an indication per project instead of a fixed number per tree.
