No. Plugchoice is a free OCPP platform (CPO backoffice) that lets you manage, monitor and schedule any OCPP-compatible charger. Think of it as a dashboard for your charging infrastructure.

How does the connection with Joulo work?

You connect your Plugchoice account once via OAuth. After that, Joulo automatically syncs your charging data. No migration, no OCPP settings to change • everything runs via the Plugchoice API.

Do I get a discount if I connect via Plugchoice?

Do I need a MID meter?

Yes. For ERE registration, the underlying charger must have a built-in MID-certified energy meter. Plugchoice itself is software and does not have its own meter.
