What is in place now

Joulo B.V. is a registration service provider. To submit your sessions, a provider needs an account in the Register Energy for Transport, the REV. We now have that account.

What we can do with it, and what not yet

We log in with eHerkenning and see the register from the inside. The screen for a new booking is already there too. Only: the list of energy types is still empty. So submitting is not possible yet.

That is not an outage. It is the planning. The NEa puts the register live in four releases. Release 1 handed out the accounts. Booking electricity by registration providers opens with release 2. That release was planned for September 2026. The NEa now expects it around mid-October 2026.

What this means for you

Nothing you need to do yourself. In concrete terms:

• Your charging sessions come in and are ready in the format the REV accepts.
• As soon as booking opens, we submit your sessions from 2026, retroactively to 1 January 2026.
• Your first payout follows release 2. We expect it in the course of October 2026. This is how that works.
• You can sign up for the year 2026 until 25 February 2027.

One thing stays the same: counting starts at your MID meter. Sessions that your charger measured with a MID meter count. Sessions from before that meter never count, not even within that window until 25 February 2027.
