ERE eligibility

Does the go-e Charger have a MID meter for ERE registration?

It depends on your model. The go-e Charger PRO has a built-in MID-certified meter and is ready for ERE registration right away. The go-e Charger Gemini (including Gemini 2.0) does not • for that, Joulo arranges an upgrade to a charger with built-in MID, or you request a Secondary Allocation Point (SAP) with your grid operator.

Does the go-e Charger have a MID meter?

Our catalog currently shows no models for this brand with a built-in MID-certified meter.

How do I make my go-e Gemini ERE-eligible?

The go-e Charger PRO already has a built-in MID meter and is ready to go. Have a Gemini without MID? Two options: request a quote for an upgrade to a charger with built-in MID meter (Joulo arranges delivery and installation), or request a Secondary Allocation Point (SAP) with your grid operator • a separate branch with its own energy meter (€200–€300 setup plus monthly costs).

How do I connect my go-e with Joulo?

Two options. Recommended: via the go-e Cloud API • enable 'Cloud API' in the go-e app (Internet → advanced settings) and enter the serial number and API key in Joulo. We then automatically retrieve your charging sessions, retroactively from 1 January 2026. Alternative: set your go-e to OCPP 1.6J in the app, with Joulo as the backend (wss://ocpp.joulo.nl).

What can I earn after an upgrade?

Our customer average is 4,100 kWh charged at home per year. With a MID charger that earns you about €530 per year in ERE's, roughly €130 per quarter. This is the mid scenario of €0.13 net per kWh, after the 20% service fee. Referrals lower your fee to 10%.

What does it cost?

A 20% service fee on the revenue. No subscription and no connection fee. The contract is cancellable yearly and we pay out every quarter.

Do I need a green energy contract?

No, and your supplier does not matter. ERE units cover the renewable share of the Dutch grid mix. For 2026 that share is 50.5%.

Do charging sessions from before I signed up count?

Yes, as long as the MID meter measured them. Sessions from 1 January 2026 count, and 2026 sessions can be registered up to and including 25 February 2027. Sessions from before the MID meter never count.

When does the money reach my account?

Every quarter, on the account from your registration. Your dashboard shows per charging session where the amount comes from.
