Heeft mijn EVBox een MID-meter voor ERE-registratie?

Ja. De EVBox Elvi, Liviqo, Homeline en BusinessLine hebben een ingebouwde MID-gecertificeerde kWh-meter en koppelen via OCPP 1.6J. De Elvi stel je in met de EVBox Connect-app, via Bluetooth bij het laadstation. Alleen de Livo heeft geen MID-meter • die is niet geschikt voor ERE-registratie.

Another provider couldn't connect to my EVBox Elvi MID. After some messaging back and forth with Joulo I was connected: my EVBox now talks to an OCPP proxy, so I can control it with Home Assistant while the charging data flows to Joulo automatically for ERE registration.

Yes, the EVBox Businessline (hub/4g/Elvico), Businessline Hub and 5 other models have a factory-fitted MID meter and count right away. Other EVBox variants lack that meter.

Hoe koppel ik mijn EVBox met Joulo?

Via de EVBox Connect-app, met Bluetooth bij het laadstation. Start in je Joulo-dashboard Laadstation koppelen, kies EVBox en plak de Joulo-URL in de app onder Laadbeheerplatform • Verschillende backend URL. De volledige handleiding staat op joulo.nl/docs/evbox.

EVBox heeft geen backoffice meer. Wat nu?

EVBox stopte op 1 december 2025 met zijn backoffice in Nederland. Staat je EVBox zonder backoffice, of bij een nieuwe? Koppel hem aan Joulo, zonder abonnement. De drie routes staan op joulo.nl/evbox-overstappen.

Wat verdien ik met mijn EVBox?

Ons klantgemiddelde is 4,100 kWh thuisladen per jaar. Onze klanten krijgen gemiddeld 12.6 cents netto per kWh, na servicekosten. Daarmee krijg je zo'n €517 per jaar aan ERE's, €129 per kwartaal. Bij het standaardtarief van 20% is het 12 cents per kWh.

What does it cost?

A 20% service fee on the revenue. No subscription and no connection fee. The contract is cancellable yearly and we pay out every quarter.

Do I need a green energy contract?

No, and your supplier does not matter. ERE units cover the renewable share of the Dutch grid mix. For 2026 that share is 50.5%.

Do charging sessions from before I signed up count?

Yes, as long as the MID meter measured them. Sessions from 1 January 2026 count, and 2026 sessions can be registered up to and including 25 February 2027. Sessions from before the MID meter never count.

When does the money reach my account?

Every quarter, on the account from your registration. Your dashboard shows per charging session where the amount comes from.
