How do I connect my SolarEdge with Joulo?

You enter the charger ID of your charger in the connection wizard. It is the 8-digit number starting with 99, on the type plate and in the SolarEdge app. That is all: we register it with SolarEdge, and after that your charging sessions arrive at Joulo automatically.

How long until my sessions show up?

Usually about a week. SolarEdge adds your charger to the export and from that moment your sessions flow in. For an older model (charger ID starting with 990) SolarEdge has to add the charger by hand, which can take a few weeks. Nothing after eight days? Send us a message from your dashboard.

Do my earlier sessions from this year count?

Yes, for a charger with a factory-fitted MID meter. The SolarEdge export also contains your sessions from earlier this year, so we register from 1 January 2026. Does your charger have no MID meter? Then your sessions count from the moment a charger with a MID meter is installed.

What can I earn with my SolarEdge?

At 200 kWh/month you earn approximately €61 per quarter in ERE credits. Joulo charges 20% standard service fee, with referrals lowering it down to 10%.

Does my SolarEdge charger have a MID meter for ERE registration?

It depends on your model. The SolarEdge One EV Charger Pro has a factory-fitted MID meter and is ready for ERE registration right away. The regular One EV Charger and the older inverter-coupled EV Charger do not have one. For those, Joulo arranges a quote for an upgrade to a charger with a factory-fitted MID meter, or you request a Secondary Allocation Point (SAP) with your grid operator.
